Spot the Beliefs That Shape Your Days.
Most of us pick up beliefs about aging without even noticing. They sneak in early, before we know enough to question them. These old stories run in the background, steering what we expect from ourselves. But here’s your chance: lay those beliefs out on the table. Ask yourself—do they still fit, or are you carrying someone else’s baggage?
What You’re Carrying
Some beliefs about aging are so familiar, you barely notice them. They shape your days, always present but rarely questioned.
What beliefs about aging have you carried the longest? Where do you sense they came from?
Picture yourself ten years from now. What’s the first image that comes to mind? Is it your own vision, or someone else’s idea of aging?
Is there a belief about aging you’ve accepted without choosing? What happens if you look at it more closely?
What Lived Experience Actually Shows
Beliefs linger when you don’t question them. But your own life likely tells a story that’s richer and kinder than the one you grew up with.
Think of someone, at any age, whose way of growing older surprised or recalibrated you. What did you notice?
What does your own experience reveal about your capacity, your resilience, and your ability to keep growing?
The Space Between the Story and the Person
The stronger test is truth: does this belief hold up, and does it help you live the life you want today?
If you described your aging based on real experience, not old expectations, what would that look like?
If your most limiting belief was optional, what new possibilities could open up?
What You Choose to Expect
Growth’s real fuel is honesty: naming what’s real, what’s possible, and what you can actually reach for.
What expectation, chosen with more deliberation, would you want to carry forward?
What becomes possible when the story you hold about this stage of your life is yours to shape?
Name one belief about aging you’ve never actually tested. Write it as a single sentence. Then list three moments from your own life that contradict it. Read both side by side, and notice which version — the belief or the evidence — sounds more like you.

Bibi Ohlsson
I write in the space where life tilts—those small, unmistakable moments when something inside you moves first, and the rest of your world begins to follow.
This is where recognition becomes direction.
Here, we explore the questions that stretch you, the patterns that reveal you, and the subtle shifts that quietly rewire the way you meet your days.
If you sense a truer version of your life just within reach, you’re already in the right place.
